DFA Northwestern teams are kicking their projects into high gear as the quarter is coming to a close and teams get ready to move forward into prototyping and user-testing in the Spring! We had an amazing turn-out last night, especially considering this week is finals!

  • Charlie Kettering graduated from Dartmouth in 2007 with a degree in brain science and economics; he has since worked in consulting and private equity, and is returning to school to pursue his MBA in the fall.
  • Shalyn Hockey graduated from Northwestern in 2009 with a degree in International Studies and Organizational Behavior; she has since worked at 2 technology startups and currently works at the Northwestern Center for Forced Migration Studies. She is returning to school to pursue a law degree in the fall.
  • Chris Wilmer is a Ph.D. student in the department of Chemical & Biological Engineering at Northwestern University. He spends most of his time designing crystals that capture carbon dioxide, but also devotes weekends and evenings to engineering side-projects (particularly those with humanitarian benefits).
