Welcome to the DFA Collaborative website – your go-to place to connect with and collaborate with other alum, read interesting stories about the latest in design from a unique DFAer perspective and learn how fellow DFAers tackle life’s big questions! We’re so excited to get this up and running, learn from you on what you’d like to see here and improve upon it in the upcoming months 😀

WHY A WEBSITE?

In-person meetups were fun, social but geographically limited.

We started at geographical Hubs (like studios) where alums could get together to do projects, hold events, and network with like-minded professionals. Three Hubs (Chicago, Bay Area and Portland) had meetings every so often and held a few events which was AWESOME. As we learned more about the attraction of these events and how alums like to spend their time, we decided to make a website with an active blog to foster conversation around the career and big life questions DFA alums still want to talk about.
