DFA is proud to announce sponsorship from Adobe for the third year in a row, giving hundreds of DFAers in our network a FREE Adobe Creative Cloud account for the year. DFA is very excited about renewing this sponsorship to equip our members with the skills and tools to bring their ideas to life and make an impact.
Programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, and more are critical for students so they can tell compelling stories and create prototypes to share with and delight their users. Here are just a few examples of how the DFA network has used Adobe programs in the past:
DFA Cincinnati used Adobe to design a recruitment poster that asks “How can we change the world?”
DFA Wash U used Adobe to design a recruitment tri-fold and banner that shows off the many values and activities of DFA.
DFA RPI used Adobe to design and promote their campus-wide Design Week events.
A project team at DFA Yale used Adobe to create photorealistic renderings of “Illumiloon”, an aerostat communication system that empowers community members and aids first responders in natural disaster relief.
A project team at DFA MIT used Adobe to create the print and mobile graphics “Boo Boo Buddy”, a toy and phone application that allows children to visually communicate their pain and help adults track changes in pain over time.
As you can see, Adobe has given DFA students the tools they need, whether it’s to create promotional posters or user interface graphics. We’re so excited to see what DFAers will make next!
