Projects

DFA teams look for challenges that are daring, feasible, and applicable to communities throughout the country in the areas of Health, Education, and Sustainability. We ask ourselves, “what is the smallest change we can make to create the most impact?”

DFA student teams work to further their projects by working outside of the classroom allowing their projects to be “deadline-less.” When there is a passion from the team and validation from their users, a project will keep moving forward. We start with research and asking questions to make sure we are solving for the right problem. This as it turns out can be a very long process therefore our pipeline of projects are at various stages in the design and implementation process from initial research to launching into a business. We are always seeking out new pressing challenges for our teams to tackle as well as feedback on projects to make them better. Therefore, please feel free to suggest a challenge by contacting us here or give feedback to our teams by commenting on their project page!
