UO Eugene
The University of Oregon DFA community is very enthusiastic about the possibilities to impact Eugene! In the week of meeting and work parties, we saw many new faces and heard a variety of perspectives, all sharing a great excitement for the community we are beginning to build. The students each had connections to other people on and off-campus and wanted to spread the word about DFA and get these other groups involved in the projects we tackle.
There’s a lot of desire among our students to practice design extra-curricularly. We have a lot of people here who are interested in social design and creating community oriented systems. As a group, everyone is very friendly and no one is shy about speaking up. We were so inspired by the motivation and commitment they all showed already at such an early stage in DFA involvement, and we can’t wait to bring them more information about the group and to get started on actually making things with them all.
